AN3-3024-BD
The tie rod is a key component of a car's steering system. Its main function is to precisely transmit the steering force from the rocker arm to the steering knuckle arm, thereby controlling the steering angle of the wheels. It is made of high-strength steel (such as 35CrMo) and can withstand tension and pressure to ensure effective transmission of steering force. In addition, the ball joint design at both ends of the tie rod gives it flexibility, allowing the wheels to still steer smoothly when bouncing up and down. Some tie rods are also equipped with a positive and negative thread structure, which facilitates fine adjustment of the toe-in value to optimize tire wear and driving stability. If the clearance of the tie rod ball joint exceeds 0.5 mm, it may cause abnormal noise in the steering wheel or loss of steering control, requiring regular inspection and maintenance.
